After falling in love with the gulf coast of Mississippi while visiting on vacation, Susan Siemiontkowski and her husband put their home in Michigan on the market and moved to Gulfport. Today, she shares her passion for the area on her blog, Come Home to Coastal MS, so visitors and new homeowners can immerse themselves in everything there is to love about the “Secret Coast!”
There is much to enjoy about this vibrant, laid-back, culturally rich city – and it all comes at an affordable cost of living. Gulfport is the second most affordable beach town in the US!
Susan loves Gulfport so much that she shifted from a long career in sales and marketing to one in real estate. After a local company built Susan and her husband a custom home, she started working as the company’s Sales and Marketing Manager. She got her first taste of what it felt like to usher a family into their new home and was hooked. The next obvious step was to become a REALTOR®.
Susan created her blog as a resource for local residents, home buyers and sellers, and anyone interested in learning more about the Secret Coast. She has partnered with Gulf Coast Woman Magazine to spill the “secrets” to a larger audience and give more people a chance to experience living in Coastal Mississippi.
